SWIMMAN  GRAND l. WANG

BIOGRAPHY:              My English name is Grand L. WANG (王力伟)and I was born on May 27 1962,in  Hebei Province,P.R.China. Since 1979,I ever did several kinds  of  jobs as  latherman, electrician,  nurse, English lecturer, librarian, and editor. Now I worked as a librarian in a hospital .

In my school days, I have been learning languages of English, German, Japanese all by

myself.   Untill  now I have published as many as 40 articles on journals, newspapers, as 

well as broadcasting stations, totally 400 thousands of English and Chinese characters.  

            I began my training of tri-events, including swim, cycling and run from 1979 last

 century without any  tri-event coaches; and I finally was awarded the tittle of ironman in

Beijing "Huayuan Cup" Ironman Triathlon on July 5,1987. Later I joined triathlon

 competitions many times  in cities such  as Shenyang, Shanghai, Harbin, Jiayuguan,

Qinghai, Shandong, Dalian, and so on at my own expenses, and gained  many medals, and

certificates, and honor titles. Besides I had ever swum across many reservoirs hundreds of

times in Hebei Province. In 2001,I swam across Qiongzhou Strait.

          In  1998, my stories were added in the "World Who's Who"  Vol.3 and a great

publishing ceremony was held in Bankok.  My outstanding achievements  have also been

 reported  at large by many press medias  such as  CCTV,  China Youth Daily, People's Daily,

 Newspaper of Shanghai  Books  Infomation, Yanzhao City Newspaper, China Sports Daily,

Baoding Daily and Baoding Evening  Paper, also many  other   press  medias  including 

 TV stations  of  Hebei Province, Fujian  Province, Qinghai Province, Shijiazhuang City and

Baoding City.
